Airport Arrivals

Customers can pre scheduled (ahead of time ) Airport arrivals and departure from the airport public parking. All information will be sent by email upon completion of booking. Please allow us 24 hours to process reservation. Kahului Airport parking is a paid public parking therefore, all customers will need to pay a fee to exit. Maximum fee is $25 for weekdays and Saturdays arrival. Sundays arrival is max $50 fee.

Kimos Rent a Car doesn't profit from any airport parking fees. Customers can avoid parking fees if they pick up or drop off car from our Kahului Shop during open hours of operation.

Late Departures

This is another feature that customers absolutely love about us. The simplicity of our "After hours Departure". For those leaving Maui in late flights we offer the option to leave the rental car in a designated area of the public airport parking, just a short walk from the terminal. However, detailed information will be sent by email upon completion of booking. In addition customers will need to pay $25 airport parking fees (Saturday drop off $50). You can request a refund of airport drop off fee if you return the car at Kimos Shop during business hours (every day from 8am to 1pm except Sundays). Shuttles to Airport are Not available. Do not return car outside Shop Gate.

We encourage customers to exit airport parking through the automatic exit booth lane to avoid possible errors with the parking fees.

Free Cancellations

Free cancellations. You can cancel your car rental booking anytime before your arrival in Maui. However, an $80 fees will apply for cancellation within 48 hours from arrival.

Book your car rental now and Pay Later. That is to say, all payments are due on arrival. We accept all mayor credit cards and debit cards. Some special debit cards will required a security deposit or payment upfront.

Young Driver

Our young driver fee of $5 will apply to all drivers under the age of 25. Drivers need to be 21 years old or older to be able to rent or drive our rental cars

Free surfing and windsurfing racks for all our Minivans and SUVs. Additional $2 per day fees for surfing racks for compacts and midsize vehicles.

Baby Seats

Customers can request $4 per day for baby seats and $2 per day for toddlers seats. For families with many siblings you have the option to book as many as needed.

No Hidden Fees

We are committed to offer 100% Business transparency. You will only be charged for services selected upon bookings and the airport parking fees will only apply to arrivals and drop offs at the airport parking. Please understand that $25 Parking is just to pay the public parking facilities. For customers arriving just on Sundays (when our shop is closed) the airport parking fee will be more than the regular fee of $25 (and can be up to $50 on arrival). All the rest of the week the arrivals and departures are $25 and you can avoid those fees if you pick up or drop off the car rental from our shop in kahului during our open hours of operation.

Liability

Our rentals include secondary liability insurance for all register drivers.

C.D.W

we offer the option to purchase $10 per day for Collision Damage Waver Insurance (C.D.W) with a deductible of $1,000.

Switch

If for some reason customers need to upgrade vehicle or just feel like switching vehicles, there is an option to submit a switching request anytime.

Road Asistance

You can purchase our road Assistance for an additional $10 per day. Provides coverage for unlikely events such as Key Lockout Service, Jump-Start , Flat Tire Assistance, Tire Replacement and Fuel Delivery. You can add our Road service straight from the rental agreement. Perfect for customers that want the peace of mind of knowing they don't need to deal with flat tires or unexpected issues.

Credit Cards

We accept all mayor Credit Cards and Debit cards. Please know that some debit cards will required a security deposit. Most of the payments are due on arrival. Some special credit cards and debit cards will required pre paid for bookings.

Reliable

We rent used cars. All our vehicles are very reliable and well maintained. We have an exclusive full time mechanic that is making sure all the fleet is pre inspected before leaving our shop.

No Smoking

We have a very strict no smoking policy inside the cars. Please avoid smoking fees. Respect the next customer.

Gasoline

Our gasoline policy requires to return vehicle with over 1/4 gasoline tank. You don't need to fill up the gas tank on departure. You just need to return the rental car with some gas as you had on arrival.

Customize Account

We offer full flexibility in order to make your bookings as simple as possible. You can modify your bookings, extend your reservation, change your pick up or drop off, request cancellations, early returns, invoices, update billing information, add drivers. Surfboard Rental

Our surfboard rentals is $12 per day. Depends on the type of vehicle rented, Delivery and Return needs to be pre-arranged with Kimos. Always check ocean safety before going in the water! Ocean waves, ocean currents and trade-winds can be strong and unperdictable, so always keep alert and speak with a lifeguard.

Beach Combo Rental

You can now order your Beach Combo rental to be delivered with your rental car. Combo includes 2 Beach Chairs, 1 Beach Umbrella and a Cooler for $8 per day.

Beach chairs can also be rented for $2 per day

G.P.S Rental

For those customers that don't know their way around Maui, an in-car GPS unit comes very handy. With clear navigation instructions, you make the most of your time. We have the option to rent GPS devices for $10 per day
